I’m Bridget, the adventurer behind exploraspective. Thanks for your interest in my experiences!
Exploraspective is a way of looking, a way of living, and a way of traveling. It’s the idea that we’re here to experience rather than accumulate.
Each one of us senses and processes the world in a unique and beautiful way, and each one of us has the capacity to express that singular experience in a way that no one else can. For me, this is the most important work we can do on the planet – not climbing ladders or slaying dragons or being busy – but rather exploring, experiencing, and expressing.
I’m committed to journeys of every kind – day trips to farmers’ markets and mountain biking areas, road trips to ghost towns and quirky homegrown attractions, and international excursions on a variety of budgets. Wherever I go, I take pictures, I talk to folks, I eat, I listen to music, and I write. When I’ve digested my experience well enough to have something semi-articulate to say, I post in my blog, which is the core of exploraspective.
My explorations help to inspire my paid work as well; I create visual and verbal expressions for web and print media through my company, Spiralglyph Media. You can get a hold of me through my contact page on the Spiralglyph site, or by reaching out through this blog.
If you like my photos, you can receive one a day from me through my Instagram feed as well.
Thanks for contributing your wonder to the world!
